11th Hour Support

Cheryl T.
I learned about Hospice from family members in other cities. I learned of Montgomery Hospice after driving past Casey House in my travels up & down Muncaster Mill Road in Rockville, MD.
Now, I am an 11th Hour Volunteer. I stay with a patient and his or her family when the end of life nears. As each individual's approach to life is different, so is his or her approach to death. Each patient's concerns and those of the family are unique. While under the care of Montgomery Hospice, the patient's and family's needs are acknowledged and are honored to the highest level possible. When I go into a patient's home to offer comfort and support, I feel that I am entering sacred ground. This is truly meaningful work.
